About Us

Being from Minnesota, we found ourselves seeking warmer climates during the harsh Midwestern winters. During our travels, we stumbled along the little island of Captiva, located off the southwestern coast of Florida. It had everything we were looking for: peaceful beachfront living, great dining and shopping, all of the outdoor activities you can imagine, and a spectacular tropical setting right here in the United States. 

We fell in love. Today, we share that love with you at Captiva Retreat, our vacation rental home right in the heart of the most beautiful setting snowbirds like us could ever imagine.
